The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hata pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Yumikuri throws a combination. Hata tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Yumikuri shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Yumikuri checks a leg kick.
Hata will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hata is looking to clinch but Yumikuri is avoiding it.
Yumikuri closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Yumikuri thows a huge punch but Hata dodges it nicely.
The fighters are battling for position here. Hata manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Yumikuri wants to control from the top but Hata keeps moving.

Yumikuri drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hata manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Yumikuri has Hata in his guard.

Yumikuri has hold of Hata's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hata manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Yumikuri is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hata's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hata's back!
Yumikuri is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Hata has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Yumikuri has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Hata taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Yumikuri doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Trine is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Trine hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
