The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Darabedyan feints and as Apollo raises his hands in defense, Darabedyan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Darabedyan trying to control the position from guard on top but Apollo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Darabedyan works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Apollo gets back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Darabedyan trying to stand up but can't free himself from Apollo's guard.

Darabedyan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Darabedyan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Apollo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Apollo keeping moving, preventing Darabedyan from controlling successfully.

Apollo is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Darabedyan has his hands clasped together but Apollo extends an breaks Darabedyan's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Apollo.

Mitichyan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Mitichyan tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mitichyan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Mitichyan, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Mitichyan against the cage but Mitichyan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ravencroft had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Johnson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ravencroft Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Johnson's back instead.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vine closes the distance and clinches up with Veiwus, looking for a takedown. Vine pushes Veiwus against the cage but Veiwus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Vine throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Veiwus's waist but Veiwus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vine off to one side.
Veiwus will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vine shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Veiwus pinned against the cage. Veiwus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
