The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barbarian shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Barbarian swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Murphy is now in Barbarian's guard. A big mistake from Barbarian there, giving up the dominant position!
Murphy wanted to stand there but Barbarian had control of the position.
Barbarian will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barbarian has his foot on Murphy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Murphy works his way back into a safe position though.
