0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Mendez! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mendez is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Mendez circles away and we're back to standing. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mendez.
Silva fails with the takedown. Mendez rushes Silva and presses him up against the cage. Silva prevents a takedown attempt there.
Nice body punch from Mendez - that landed with a thud.
Silva is breathing heavily. Mendez breaks from the clinch.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Silva not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mendez scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Mendez scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Mendez wants to take a breather but Silva is having none of it. Silva looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Dan Mendez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mendez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mendez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Mendez works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Silva has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mendez regains guard immediately. Silva preventing the sweep. Silva is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mendez has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mendez pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Silva taps out and this one is all over!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Edgar stops Delta from standing up. Delta controls Edgar momentarily but Edgar frees himself. Edgar gets to his feet - Delta follows without any prompting. Edgar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Delta. The fight stays on the outside here - Delta looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Delta doesn't manage to clinch there - Edgar circles away.

Matt Edgar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Edgar instigates a clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krundel fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stripe sprawls well initially but Krundel persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Stripe is trying to stand back up but Krundel is controlling him
Krundel is keen to just control but Stripe is a slippery customer. Stripe makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Krundel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stripe as he avoids it easily. Stripe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Krundel looks gassed! Stripe throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Stripe tries to advance to mount but Krundel denies him. Krundel throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Stripe is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Krundel knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
