The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen works over Okano's head and body with a nice combination.
Allen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Okano moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Allen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Okano paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Okano moves in looking to clinch but Allen pushes him off.
Allen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Okano's waist but Okano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Allen off to one side.
Okano moves in looking to clinch but Allen pushes him off.
Allen throws a right and a left that both miss.

Okano throws a head kick but Allen moves out of range.

Okano throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Allen stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Okano follows into mount!

Wodka Blotto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Smashem or perhaps it was just good defense by Blotto which made him look bad.

Blotto had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Smashem is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Blotto Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Smashem's back instead.

Blotto has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Smashem has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Blotto seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Smashem's chin but Smashem turns very nicely into Blotto's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Smashem.
