Pereira on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Samuel Pereira has been cut.
Pereira shoots in but Slaughter avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Slaughter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pereira's head backwards.
Slaughter scores with a sloppy right hand. Pereira should have avoided that one.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pereira is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Slaughter - that's hurt Pereira badly! Oh, another knee lands and Pereira is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Pereira doesn't seem to be complaining.
