Brown throws a looping overhand right but Bain ducks down to avoid it.

Brown takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bain shoots in looking for a takedown. Brown tries to sprawl out of it but Bain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Brown manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Alfred Brown is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Rodriguez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Shapiro has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Rodriguez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Shapiro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Rodriguez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Rodriguez goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Shapiro has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rodriguez but great work by Shapiro.
