The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinksy slips under a jab.
Bean tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pinksy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bean swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pinksy.

It looks like Drew Pinksy has been cut.
Bean displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pinksy throws out the jab.
Bean ducks under a wild hook from Pinksy.
Pinksy misses with a double jab.
Bean looks to land a right hand but Pinksy moved out of range.
A head kick misses from Pinksy.
Pinksy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Pinksy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bean misses with a hook. Pinksy ducked under it nicely.
Bean misses the shot to the body.
Butter Bean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bean cracks a nice hook into Pinksy's ribs.
Pinksy looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bean feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Pinksy sprawling to the canvas! Pinksy rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bean finish him?!
Bean drops Pinksy with a huge uppercut! Pinksy drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Bean is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Butter Bean!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooh a lovely combination from Nutlover sends Cowell down but not out. Nutlover dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Anderson Cowell has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cowell is looking to reverse the position.

Nutlover tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Nutlover goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Cowell has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Nutlover but great work by Cowell.
Cowell passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Nutlover!

Cowell can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nutlover is looking to escape.

Cowell is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Nutlover has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Nutlover is wriggling around trying to escape.
Nutlover wants to control but Cowell is having none of it.

Nutlover is looking to improve his position but Cowell isn't that keen on the idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nutlover is working hard here to advance position.

Cowell is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Nutlover can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Nutlover sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Cowell uses his free foot to push down on Nutlover's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nutlover.

Cowell fails to take his opponent's back.
Nutlover tries to hold on but Cowell pushes him away.
Cowell tries to control but Nutlover wriggling away.

Nutlover looking for submissions off his back.
Nutlover won't allow Cowell to pass to mount.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Cowell is thwarting Nutlover's attempts to control the position.
Nutlover moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Nutlover not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cowell trying to control the position from guard on top but Nutlover is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nutlover is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cowell looks for a takedown but Nutlover sprawls well.
Cowell looks gassed!
Nutlover throws out a powerful jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nutlover looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cowell is fending him off so far but Nutlover persists. Nope, Cowell circles away and we're back to standing.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Cowell gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nutlover listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harry Nutlover dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Cowell gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Cowell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cowell is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Nutlover stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cowell swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cowell wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Cowell is breathing heavily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nutlover lands with a straight right. Cowell didn't see that one coming.

Cowell misses with a takedown attempt

and Nutlover counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cowell!
Nutlover connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Nutlover jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Cowell manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Nutlover tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nutlover has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Nutlover is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cowell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Cowell tries to improve position but can't.

Nutlover is working to tighten is grip on Cowell's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Cowell has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Nutlover is really squeezing tight and eventually Cowell passes out! Nutlover breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
