And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Poop Dik!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukkonen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kukkonen avoids a kick to the body.
Dik throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dik lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kukkonen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kukkonen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
No luck for Dik with that takedown attempt.

Kukkonen's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Dik wants to control the pace but Kukkonen is squirming around nicely.

Kukkonen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Kukkonen cracks Dik with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kukkonen connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Dik tumbling to the canvas! Kukkonen pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Dik was done - good stoppage!

Sliver gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sliver will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Turpos drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sliver dives on top into guard.

Sliver stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Turpos swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Turpos has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sliver is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Turpos.

Filip shoots in for a takedown but Puhakka shows good takedown defense.

Filip tries to clinch up but Puhakka circles away and keeps his distance.

Filip thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Filip pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Puhakka taps out and this one is all over!
