The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Leroy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Leroy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hughes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Leroy tries to avoid it but Hughes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Leroy to the ground. Leroy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hughes fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Hughes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Leroy as he avoids it easily.
