Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donald Cerone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rarl Divinchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cerone kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cowboys From Hell. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Divinchi shoots in looking for a takedown. Cerone tries to sprawl out of it but Divinchi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cerone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Divinchi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Divinchi refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Divinchi's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Benjamin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kang swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kang buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Benjamin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kang swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kang keeps the fight on the outside.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kang.
Kang shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kang finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kang misses the jab.
Benjamin tries to close the distance and clinch but Kang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Benjamin throws the left hand but Kang avoids the punch easily.
A jab-cross combination lands for Benjamin and sends Kang crashing to the mat! Benjamin follows him down to the mat - Kang regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Oh Kang is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Khru Kang's cut is getting worse.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kang is refusing to be controlled, as Benjamin sits in half guard.
Kang seems to have got his legs back now.
Benjamin wants to get back to his feet.
Kang is trying to get back to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kang wants to control but Benjamin is keeping busy.
Benjamin prevents Kang from improving his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Kang looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Kang controlling the position well.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Benjamin clinches.

Kang ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kang no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Kang is trying to keep Benjamin in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close third round but Judah Benjamin just about did enough to take it.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Benjamin is pressed up against the cage. Kang has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Benjamin down to the mat. Benjamin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khru Kang. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Benjamin moves into the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Benjamin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Khru Kang's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Benjamin digs a right hand underneath Kang's ribcage. Kang let out a lung full of air as it connected.
It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.
Benjamin lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kang backwards.
Benjamin lands a body punch in the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Benjamin as the two fighters clinch.
Benjamin lands a nice uppercut.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Benjamin.
Benjamin is working Kang over against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from Benjamin.
Benjamin scores with a shoulder strike.

Jeez, Khru Kang's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
A left hand lands to the body for Benjamin.
Benjamin lands a shot to the body.
Benjamin lands a right hand.
Benjamin gets through Kang's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Khru Kang's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber thows a body shot but no joy.
Faber throws a head kick but Brighamovic moves out of range.

Faber rushes Brighamovic and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Faber scores a nice knee to the body.

Faber breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Faber looks to land a combination but Brighamovic avoids it well.
Faber thuds his shin into the meat of Brighamovic's side.
Brighamovic takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Brighamovic wants to clinch up but Faber keeps it at a distance.
Faber misses with a hook.
Brighamovic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Faber is fending him off so far but Brighamovic persists. Nope, Faber circles away and we're back to standing.
Brighamovic slips a jab from Faber.
Brighamovic stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Faber.
Good leg kick by Faber there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Brighamovic looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Faber scores with the left hand. Brighamovic knows he should have avoided that one.
Faber fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Brighamovic to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Brighamovic looks to clinch but Faber throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Brighamovic taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
