The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocket tries a head kick but it misses.

Voganoff bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Rocket is looking to regain half guard here but Voganoff keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Voganoff connects with a nice short shot to Rocket's temple.

Parcell comes to the cage accompanied by In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins. Blazsanyik has chosen Run to the Hills - Iron Maiden as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
