Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gapuz paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gapuz is breathing heavily.

Gapuz is wriggling around trying to escape.

Smith is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gapuz can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Smith is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gapuz has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Smith tries to control but Gapuz wriggling away.

Smith is working for a guillotine from mount but Gapuz frees his head quite easily.
Gapuz is trying desperately to improve position.
Smith is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gapuz has left one of his arms exposed and Smith doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Gapuz screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
