The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Money shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Somebody as he avoids it easily. Somebody tries for a takedown but Money circles away easily and Money counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Money. Money postures up.
Somebody working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Money doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Money manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Money wants to control from the top but Somebody keeps moving. Money wanted to stand there but Somebody had control of the position. Money will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Somebody avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Money would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Money gets to his feet - Somebody follows without any prompting. Money scores with a shot to the body.

He's worked his way up against the cage but Somebody has just dragged him back down to the mat. Somebody scoring with punches and elbows. Somebody has knee on belly and moves into mount. Somebody looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Money avoids a series of strikes thrown by Somebody.

It's a bit of a token attempt though and Money regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Le Tank is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Turing. Turing wants to clinch. Turing shoots for a takedown but Le Tank saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Le Tank darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Turing is trying to maintain the position but Le Tank is very close to passing his half guard. Turing is looking to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Le Tank thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Turing's head. Turing is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Le Tank scores with a couple of nice shots. Le Tank knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Turing on the ground. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Le Tank in particular looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Turing wants to control but Le Tank is keeping busy and won't allow it. Le Tank takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Turing wants to control but Le Tank is keeping busy.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Hank Le Tank just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. A head kick from Turing lands but Le Tank takes it in his stride. Turing fails to land the takedown. Le Tank darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Le Tank content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Le Tank stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Turing wants to lay and pray for a moment but Le Tank keeps working. Turing is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Le Tank doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Turing. Le Tank on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Le Tank tries to get out of the position.

Le Tank seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Turing for as long as he can get away with. Castro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A punch combination from Castro misses. Castro is looking to clinch. Kalonji shoots for a double leg takedown but Castro sprawls well. He's pushed Kalonji's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A head kick from Castro lands but Kalonji takes it in his stride. Castro looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Castro tries to clinch up. Kalonji tries to keep at a distance but Castro has taken the fight into the clinch. Castro lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kalonji backwards. After initially coming in at 157.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds.
