Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Pierre has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Cirianni doesn't defend quickly enough and Pierre has managed to lock this one up! Can Cirianni escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Pierre on a fantastic submission victory.

Harris swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Harris keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Cartman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Harris.
Harris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cartman ducks right into an uppercut from Harris.
Harris scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Cartman takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cartman slips a jab from Harris.
Cartman needs to keep his hands up - Harris had a free shot at his head there.

Harris throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Harris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cartman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cartman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cartman has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Harris to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Cartman is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Harris pulls down on the head and he's put Cartman to sleep! This one is all over!

Davis bounces back off the cage towards Canadian Kid, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Canadian Kid lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Canadian Kid celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Kurosawa has his foot on Comte's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Comte works his way back into a safe position though.

Kurosawa had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Comte is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kurosawa Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Comte's back instead.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Comte, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
