The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hioko lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hioko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Salsa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A lazy left from Hioko finds it's target.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Salsa tries to clinch but Hioko moves out of range.
Hioko scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Chips Salsa has been cut.
Salsa looks gassed!
Hioko lands with a big left! Salsa is wobbled badly! Hioko comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Salsa to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
