The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Altschuler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mcgrath as he jumps to the side.
Altschuler closes the distance and clinches up with Mcgrath, looking for a takedown. Altschuler pushes Mcgrath against the cage but Mcgrath circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mcgrath throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Matthew Altschuler has been cut.

Mcgrath is trying to get back to his feet.

Altschuler is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mcgrath knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Mcgrath pushes Altschuler off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

That was a close round but I would say that Frank Mcgrath will probably get the nod.

Altschuler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mcgrath swats him away and circles back towards the center.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Mcgrath here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Snapfish throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bjj's waist but Bjj gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Snapfish off to one side.
Snapfish shoots in looking for a takedown. Bjj tries to sprawl out of it but Snapfish keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bjj manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Snapfish looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Snapfish misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sparing Bjj has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Snapfish.

Bjj closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Snapfish to the mat! Snapfish manages to get full guard.
