Davis stands and throws Howard's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Howard tries to buck Davis off but Davis is having none of it.

Howard takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Davis looks up at the clock and then as Howard takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Davis smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ryan Davis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Davis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Howard tries to avoid it but Davis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Howard to the ground. Howard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Gilliam Howard.
I think Howard has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
