The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sabian takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Sabian is rocked! Belial throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Sabian crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barry The Beast! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Balinko. Balinko throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. The Beast thows a body shot but no joy. Balinko throws a head kick but The Beast moves out of range.
Balinko moves away from the strike by The Beast. Balinko throws a nice outside leg kick. Balinko closes the distance and clinches. Balinko gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Balinko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Balinko trying to stand up but can't free himself from The Beast's guard. Balinko wants to control from the top but The Beast keeps moving. Balinko decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Balinko lands a head kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The Beast blocks a head kick by Balinko.
A punch combination from Balinko misses. The Beast wants to clinch and Balinko holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. The Beast wants to break the clinch but can't.

Balinko wants to get back to his feet but The Beast is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The Beast gets to his feet - Balinko follows without any prompting. The Beast tries to keep at a distance but Balinko has taken the fight into the clinch. The Beast has had enough of the clinch but Balinko keeps him there for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balinko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Balinko closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. A lull in the action here. The Beast keeps Balinko under control for a moment. Balinko stands up and we're back to a striking position. Balinko fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Balinko scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! The Beast is trying to control Balinko's posture but Balinko avoids it. Balinko stands up and beckons The Beast to his feet. Balinko forces The Beast back against the cage and clinches. Balinko landing knees to the body.
Balinko is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. The Beast can't fight it off and eventually Balinko manages to take the fight to the floor. The Beast looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Beast working for submissions but it's allowed Balinko to get to half guard.
Balinko will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Balinko lands strikes from half guard. The Beast is trying to get back to full guard. Balinko not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Balinko working over The Beast with some ground and pound. The Beast looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Balinko decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. The Beast lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Balinko at a distance.
The Beast lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The Beast throws a hook to the side of Balinko's head but Balinko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. The Beast misses with a left hand and Balinko moves into the clinch. The Beast wants to break the clinch but can't.

Balinko keeps control of The Beast as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Balinko crunches a lovely knee into The Beast's ribcage. Balinko gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, The Beast regains guard.
Balinko tries to free his leg and advance position but The Beast is retaining full guard. The Beast is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The Beast is looking for a kimura here.

The Beast throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ray Balinko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A solid body kick from Balinko. The Beast tries to clinch but fails miserably so Balinko counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Balinko postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Balinko tries to stand but The Beast is controlling from the bottom. Balinko decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Balinko shoots in and drives through. The Beast sprawls well. Balinko ducks under a wild hook from The Beast. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Balinko, as that shot connected.
Balinko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on The Beast. That did some damage! Balinko moves into the clinch successfully.

The Beast keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Balinko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Balinko is looking to work some ground and pound but The Beast has wrist control. The Beast working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Balinko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Balinko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Balinko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Beast swivels though and keeps the full guard. Balinko decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. The Beast closes the distance but Balinko moves to the side and Balinko counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for The Beast!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Balinko putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The referee warns The Beast that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The Beast bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The Beast prevents Balinko from getting back to his feet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Balinko is on top in guard.
Balinko is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that The Beast can do to turn this around? The Beast not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The Beast keeping moving, preventing Balinko from controlling successfully. Balinko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Beast on the ground. The Beast wants to control the position but Balinko says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Balinko not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The Beast gets full guard. Balinko loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The Beast looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Balinko puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Balinko fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt The Beast. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The Beast looks to score with a jab to the body but Balinko is just out of range. Barry The Beast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Balinko gets the takedown into side control. Balinko lands an elbow. Balinko staying calm. Balinko working the head with strikes. The Beast manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The Beast is pressing down on Balinko's thigh, looking to free his foot. Balinko is holding on for now. Balinko looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ray Balinko overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Balinko scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but The Beast manages to mount him!

Gracie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Carter's head. Carter has one foot on Gracie's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Carter with a lazy takedown attempt and Gracie counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Carter wants to clinch. Gracie misses with a double jab.

Dennis Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dennis Gracie's cut. That's time! Carter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Gracie tries to reverse the position but Carter maintains control. Gracie slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Carter stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. No joy there for Gracie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter controlling the position for now. Carter makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Carter. Gracie landing with the ground and pound. Gracie would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Carter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie being controlled here, momentarily. Gracie trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Gracie keeping moving, preventing Carter from controlling successfully. Gracie has a closed guard, preventing Carter from standing up.

Silva seems keen to control Cruse's posture. Cruse won't allow Silva to sweep him here. Silva controls Cruse momentarily but Cruse frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position.
