Co-main event

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jefferson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Metallica - Enter Sandman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these fighters had to take extra time to make weight as they missed the initial 205lb limit. Mike Smith came in at 206.3 and James Jefferson came in at 207.7 but after the extra two hours, both guys managed to get within the one pound allowance. No doubt it will have affected them physically though, so let's see if that has an impact on the fight. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!
