The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slade connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Macklin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Slade shoots in for a double leg but Macklin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Macklin moves forwards but Slade connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Macklin defending well as Slade loads up on a big left hand.
Slade fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Macklin manages to avoid it.
Slade throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Macklin on the side of the head.

Slade isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Macklin stacks Slade on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Macklin!

Slade had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Macklin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Slade Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Macklin's back instead.

Bundolo Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
