The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ilotalo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between El Chingon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samuel Wilson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. El Chingon looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swift tries to land a leg kick but Zahedani saw it coming and moves away.

Zahedani takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Swift wants to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

It looks like Heydar Zahedani has been cut.

Zahedani decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Zahedani seems to be working for a kimura but Swift defends the submission attempt.
Zahedani seems to have recovered his senses.
Zahedani looks gassed!

Zahedani looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Zahedani is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Swift defends it well.
Swift preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Swift is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zahedani wants to take a breather but Swift is having none of it.
Swift is looking to improve his position.

Swift has one foot on Zahedani's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Swift cracks Zahedani with a hook to the temple - Zahedani is on wobbly legs here! Swift swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Zahedani falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Swift wins by TKO!
