Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Meitus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarkko Rautavaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jarkko Rautavaara told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meitus tries to clinch up but Rautavaara circles away and keeps his distance.

Meitus gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Meitus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Meitus doesn't manage to clinch there - Rautavaara circles away.
Meitus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rautavaara swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Meitus moves in looking to clinch but Rautavaara pushes him off.

and Rautavaara counters by clinching up.
Meitus's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Meitus has clasped his hands together around Rautavaara's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zeus Cloud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demitri Tarasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tarasov has chosen Oskolki by Amatory as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Cloud throws a nice looking combination but Tarasov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Tarasov lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Tarasov does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Tarasov tries to close the distance and clinch but Cloud swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cloud is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Tarasov will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Tarasov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cloud. That did some damage!

Tarasov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cloud.
Tarasov looks to score with a jab to the body but Cloud is just out of range.
Cloud sizes up Tarasov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Tarasov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Tarasov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Cloud knocks Tarasov out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

That was a close round but I would say that Ivan Drago will probably get the nod.
