Athos throws a jab when Tang was well out of range.
Tang dodges the punch combination from Athos.
Nemean Athos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Athos throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Tang changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Athos looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tang misses with the ground and pound.
Tang scoring with punches and elbows.
Tang postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Tang working the ground and pound but Athos is defending the strikes.
An elbow from Tang crashes against the mat.
Athos tries to bench press Tang off him but Tang keeps the position.

Horrible takedown by Magas or perhaps it was just good defense by Pickel which made him look bad.
Mike Magas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magas throws a right and a left that both miss.
Pickel should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Magas connects with a high kick.
Magas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Magas tries to bum rush Pickel with a series of wild strikes but Pickel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Magas throws a combination. Pickel tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Pickel blocks a head kick by Magas.
Magas looks to land a combination but Pickel avoids it well.
Magas moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pickel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Magas lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Pickel!
Magas wants to stand but Pickel is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Pickel can't escape the position.
Magas tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Spencer steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Dominguez's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Dominguez just didn't come prepared.

Die stays in close to Kano's body and controls the position.
Kano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Die on the ground.

Die is pushing down on Kano's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kano is fighting to maintain full guard but Die has managed to sneak the leg through.

Kano is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kano is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Kano wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Die .
Die tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kano prevents Die from taking his back.
Die looking to control and managing it successfully.

Die wants to finish this one by submission but Kano is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Die .

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kano trying to control the position but Die manages to sink in the hooks.

Die is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Kano has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Die has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Kano taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Die doesn't care though - he's delighted!
