T really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rua. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
T is wriggling around but Rua manages to pass to half guard.
T is looking for a sweep. Rua is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Rua stops T from getting back to his feet.
T is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rua scores with a couple of nice shots.
Rua is keen to just control but T is a slippery customer.
Rua looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks T with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rua is looking to advance position but T won't allow it.
Rua slips a nice elbow through T's hands, connecting with T's forehead.
T tries to get to full guard but Rua has control of the leg.
Rua is nestled in close to T, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
E closes the distance and clinches up with Adams, looking for a takedown. E pushes Adams against the cage but Adams circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Adams connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
E tries to clinch but Adams is having none of it.
The fight stays on the outside here - E looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
E tries to clinch up but Adams circles away and keeps his distance.
E fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
E slips a jab and a cross from Adams.
Adams fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
E moves in looking to clinch but Adams pushes him off.
Adams swats away the attempt to clinch by E.
E pulls out of a head kick attempt.

E shoots for a double leg takedown but Adams sprawls well. He's pushed E's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

E shoots in but Adams avoids the takedown attempt easily.
E shoots in and drives through. Adams sprawls well.
Adams punishes E's body with a nice straight punch.
Adams looks to land a combination but E avoids it well.

Adams shoots in looking for a takedown. E tries to sprawl out of it but Adams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. E manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
E tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Adams swivels and escapes.
Adams throws a sloppy head kick
and E counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by E.

Adams is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Adams unloads with some vicious shots from mount and E wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Adams celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
