Reddy throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Janakoff blocks it with crossed arms.
Reddy creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Reddy lands an elbow that stopped Janakoff in his tracks for a moment.
Janakoff prevents a takedown attempt there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Odinson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Odinson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Turpa's guard.
Odinson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Turpa has momentary wrist control but Odinson slips an elbow through the middle.
Turpa wants to stand but Odinson is controlling the position.

Turpa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Odinson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Odinson is working Turpa over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Odinson stands and throws Turpa's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Turpa is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Odinson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Odinson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Turpa.

Turpa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Turpa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Turpa seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Odinson is holding on tight.

Turpa is working for a guillotine from mount but Odinson frees his head quite easily.
Odinson tries to reverse the position but Turpa maintains control.

Odinson tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Odinson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Turpa.

Turpa wants to clinch.
Turpa misses with a two punch combination.
Odinson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Odinson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Odinson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Turpa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Odinson checks a leg kick.
Odinson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Turpa swivels and escapes.

Turpa shoots in and bounces Odinson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Turpa tries to stand but Odinson is controlling from the bottom.
Turpa wants to pass the guard but Odinson is keeping the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Turpa drops back looking for a leg! Odinson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Odinson manages to kick Turpa off! Turpa jumps back into Odinson's guard.
Turpa works a leg free and moves into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Moottori Turpa will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Turpa tries to bum rush Odinson with a series of wild strikes but Odinson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Odinson misses with a series of wild punches.
Turpa lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Thor Odinson has been cut.
Turpa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Odinson's waist but Odinson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turpa off to one side.
Odinson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Turpa.

Odinson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Odinson cracks Turpa with a good jab.
Odinson throws a one two combo.

Odinson moves out of range as Turpa throws a body kick.
Oh Turpa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Odinson lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Turpa falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Sanchez changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Edvard fights it off and pushes away nicely.
