DeAngelo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bastos is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. DeAngelo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bastos's back instead.

DeAngelo has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. DeAngelo is squeezing on Bastos like an anaconda would it's prey. Bastos fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! Cramzz is keen to just control but smith is a slippery customer.
Cramzz is looking to stall here but smith recovers full guard.

Cramzz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

smith had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Cramzz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. smith Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Cramzz's back instead.

smith is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cramzz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cramzz's back!

smith has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Cramzz.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

smith is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Cramzz has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but smith has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Cramzz taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. smith doesn't care though - he's delighted!
