Junior shoots for a double leg takedown but Tafoya sprawls well. He's pushed Junior's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Paulsen drops Julio with a right and a left! Paulsen comes rushing in but Julio regains his composure and manages to keep Paulsen in guard.

Julio is rocked!

It looks like Armando Julio has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Julio working for a triangle but Paulsen defends it easily.
Julio is still in real trouble! Can Paulsen finish him?

Julio has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Paulsen has passed into side control.
Julio seems to have recovered his senses.

Julio is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Paulsen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Paulsen has escaped and now he's on top!

Julio has his foot on Paulsen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Paulsen works his way back into a safe position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Paulsen scores with a nice head shot.
The fighters circling - Paulsen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Paulsen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Paulsen.
