That was a close round but I would say that Joe Marr will probably get the nod.

Marr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Drake tries to avoid it but Marr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Drake to the ground. Drake escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Drake in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Marr feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Marr is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Marr is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Drake couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mac Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoban Washburne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac Bull had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Horrible takedown by Niska or perhaps it was just good defense by Gomi which made him look bad.
Gomi tries for a takedown but Niska sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Niska is looking to land body kicks.

Niska keeps Gomi at a distance using the push kick.
Niska swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

so Gomi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Gomi advances to half guard.

Gomi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gomi passes to side control.

Niska tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Gomi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Niska is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Gomi is breathing heavily.

Gomi is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Niska is trying to escape and Gomi transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Niska is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gomi! Very nice indeed!
