Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franky Morena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Morena might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to DMX - X Gonna Give It To Ya. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Morena shoots in for a double leg but Roberts sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Morena misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Horrible takedown by Morena or perhaps it was just good defense by Roberts which made him look bad.

MacKenzie shoots for a double leg takedown but Lynch sprawls well. He's pushed MacKenzie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
MacKenzie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lynch.
Lynch lands a big uppercut and MacKenzie crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but MacKenzie looks OK.

That has opened up Ron Pigman's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

King had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Anello is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. King Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Anello's back instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

King is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Anello has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
I really don't envy Anello right now.
