Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yamashita Kazuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Haskins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kazuma might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Yatta!. Kevin Haskins struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Yamashita Kazuma has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

and Haskins decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kazuma's guard.

Haskins drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kazuma manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Haskins has Kazuma in his guard.

Haskins is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kazuma defends well.
Kazuma knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Haskins on the ground.

Haskins has his foot on Kazuma's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kazuma works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Haskins had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kazuma defends it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Haskins manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Haskins is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kazuma is surviving well by controlling Haskins's body position as best he can.

Haskins is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kazuma can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Haskins is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kazuma to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kazuma shrugs it off.

Kazuma is trying to escape the mount but Haskins keeps good control and instead manages to take Kazuma's back.

Haskins is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kazuma knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kazuma for a finish.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Haskins working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Kazuma is doing well to defend. Haskins seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Kazuma is forced to tap and this one is over!
