The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
FXT feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Castle's calf.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
FXT lands a body shot.
FXT fails with an attempt to clinch.
FXT lands with a thumping leg kick.
FXT pivots, looking for a leg kick but Castle is out of range and FXT settles back down.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Castle.
Castle throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Castle is trying to get an arm triangle but FXT is defending well.

Castle working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

FXT is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Castle's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Castle is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

FXT isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Castle stacks FXT on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Castle!

Castle tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Castle has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

FXT takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Castle has worked his way into a potential kimura here. FXT is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Castle yanks on the arm and FXT is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Castle.

Wafers tries to bum rush Late with a series of wild strikes but Late uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A nice combination there by Late.

It looks like Biggs Wafers has been cut.
Wafers misses with a few strikes there.
Wafers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Late circles away quickly and effectively.
Horrible takedown by Late or perhaps it was just good defense by Wafers which made him look bad.
Late shoots in but no luck this time.

and Neo counters with a head kick that drops King to the mat! King scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

King misses with a lunging right hand
and Neo counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Morrison dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Washington. That did some damage!
Washington falls off balance throwing a combination
and Morrison makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Washington really felt that one!
Vincent Morrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Weapon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as mintz walks away with a smile on his face. Weapon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and mintz counters with a nice kick to the body.
Weapon looks gassed!
Weapon takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Weapon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and mintz counters with an inside leg kick.
Weapon is still on wobbly legs! Can mintz finish him?

mintz rushes Weapon and presses him up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
mintz working the clinch nicely. Weapon is working for position but mintz cracks him with a big knee to the head! Weapon crumples up against the cage and mintz lands two more shots before the ref can save Weapon! This one is all over!
