Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Cordoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luca de Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronnie Cordoza had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Cordoza shoots in looking for a takedown. de Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Cordoza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. de Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rus tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Rus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ueda manages to get himself to full guard.
Rus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ueda is looking for a triangle but Rus pushes his legs off easily.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between George Chavalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaq Attaq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Attaq has chosen Edit Mix as his entrance music. Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. George Chavalo had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.
