Lefebvre scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Lefebvre wants to take a breather but Willson is having none of it.
Willson is controlling Lefebvre's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Lefebvre is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Willson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Willson!

Lefebvre has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Willson doesn't defend quickly enough and Lefebvre has managed to lock this one up! Can Willson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lefebvre on a fantastic submission victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leone scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Leone stands up and beckons Nutz to his feet.
Nutz shoots and misses

and Leone counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nutz's guard now.
Leone trying to control the position from guard on top but Nutz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nutz is trying to control the position but Leone postures up.
Leone trying to stand up but can't free himself from Nutz's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nutz has his foot on Leone's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Leone works his way back into a safe position though.
Nutz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Leone manages to get himself to full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Leone holds on and takes a little breather.

Leone had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nutz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Leone Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nutz's back instead.

Nutz manages to reverse the position and now he's in Leone's guard. Nice work there by Nutz.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nutz is stalling in the full guard.
Nutz is pushing down on Leone's leg trying to pass to half guard. Leone is fighting to maintain full guard but Nutz has managed to sneak the leg through.
Nutz is breathing heavily.
Nutz wants to pass to mount but Leone is defending the position.

Leone is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Nutz pulls his head out easily.
Nutz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Leone looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Leone is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Nutz has latched onto it... Big trouble! Nutz pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Leone is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Nutz!

jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bryce paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Seth Bryce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bryce bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps jones's head backwards.
jones misses with a takedown attempt - Bryce sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bryce lands a nice shot that snaps jones's head back.
Bryce slips a jab and a cross from jones.
Bryce tries to clinch but jones moves out of range.
jones shoots in and drives through. Bryce sprawls well.
jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bryce keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bryce connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bryce tries to avoid it but jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bryce to the ground. Bryce escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bryce feints and then cracks jones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow jones down.

Seth Bryce is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Bryce swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bryce lands with a nice body kick.
Bryce throws a leg kick which misses jones's front leg but catches the back leg as jones tries to avoid it.
jones is breathing heavily.
Nice straight punches there by Bryce. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bryce.
Bryce misses with a wild body shot.

Bryce takes a kick to the side of the head.
Bryce moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
jones gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bryce.
No joy there for Bryce, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bryce throws a right and a left that jones avoids nicely.
Bryce scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
An inside leg kick lands from Bryce.
Bryce lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as jones backs up against the cage.
Bryce takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bryce lunges at jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by jones's hand.
Bryce lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Bryce has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bryce is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
jones tries for a takedown but Bryce manages to get underhooks.
Bryce unloads a knee to the mid-section. jones lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Stevens looks to land a combination but Merker Junior avoids it well.
Stevens looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Merker Junior.
Stevens avoids the head kick by Merker Junior.
Stevens tries to bum rush Merker Junior with a series of wild strikes but Merker Junior uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stevens looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Merker Junior rushes Stevens and presses him up against the cage.

Merker Junior breaks from the clinch.

Merker Junior feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Merker Junior tries to free his leg and advance position but Stevens is retaining full guard.

Cesna had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Price is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cesna Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Price's back instead.

Cesna is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Price is defending well though. Cesna let's go of the attempt for now.
Price is covering up but some of the strikes from Cesna are getting through and doing damage.

Cesna is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Price has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Cesna has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Price taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Cesna doesn't care though - he's delighted!
