More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Pango from any more punishment! Pango complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rumor Chance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonichie Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chance kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is This Joint. Chance has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rumor Chance!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tonichie Hong!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Hong.
Chance is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown by Chance or perhaps it was just good defense by Hong which made him look bad.
Chance blocks a head kick by Hong.
Hong fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hong lands with an uppercut that bounces Chance off the cage and back into rage.
Hong throws out a powerful jab.
Tonichie Hong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Good leg kick by Hong there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hong tries to land a leg kick but Chance saw it coming and moves away.
Chance has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hong.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hong.
Chance on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hong. Hong obviously looking to wear him down.
Hong connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hong misses with a low kick.
Hong lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hong throws a low kick but Chance moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice shot lands for Hong.
Hong pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hong looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hong moves into range and clinches up with Chance.
Hong tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hong misses with a punch to the body.
Hong working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Hong breaks the clinch.
Chance takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Chance takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hong looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A shot to the liver by Hong. Beautiful body shot.
Chance swats away the attempt to clinch by Hong.
Hong tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Chance manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hong jabs at Chance's body.
Chance stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hong.
Hong connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Chance's hands.
Hong throws a monster overhand right that drops Chance! Hong follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tonichie Hong!
