fili drops Ewert with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ewert looks back up at him and smiles so fili waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like John Ewert has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ewert throws a shot from downtown. fili moves away and avoids it.
Ewert circles away from the clinch attempt.

I think Diaz de Vivar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Clint Eastwood. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Lewis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Band is working away from the top position though.
Band is just content to waste time from the top position. Lewis takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Band jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lewis is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lewis and Band has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Band misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
You can see the frustration on Lewis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Lewis is looking to regain half guard here but Band keeps moving and retains side control.
Band creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lewis sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Band works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Band wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lewis keeps working.

Band connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lewis some visible discomfort.
Ister Band has got the better of the ground game so far.
Lewis tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Band is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lewis will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
