The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie with a hook.

Gracie wants to control from the top but Fredriksson keeps moving.

Fredriksson manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Gracie throws a right and a left that both miss.

A looping hook to the body misses from Fredriksson. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet.

Torque looks to land a body kick but Lawson moved away.
Torque throws a quick inside leg kick.
Lawson walks forward, straight into a front kick from Torque.
Lawson moves out of range of the body kick.
Lawson looks to land a left hand but Torque moved out of range nicely.
Lawson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

A nice inside leg kick there by Torque. That's going to slow Lawson down.
Lawson shoots for a takedown but Torque saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Torque fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lawson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Torque stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Torque wants it to stay on the feet.
Torque explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Torque lands a head kick. Lawson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Lawson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Torque throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lawson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Torque - the referee stops the clock and Lawson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Torque. Lawson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Torque throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
