Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Cat is trying to drag D to the mat but D just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

D fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cat has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

D is struggling to control the position.
Cat has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. D avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Cat blocks an elbow strike from D.
Cat is trying to work for a single leg takedown but D pulls him back up using the underhooks.
D creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Cat's defenses.
Cat's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Cat drops down looking for an ankle pick but D pulls his leg out and moves away.

That kick from D tenderised Cat's leg. Cat is trying to keep his angry face on.

D misses with a looping right.
D connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cat. Cat circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Cat chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before D can pounce on him.
D fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Cat to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Cat looks to clinch but D throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Cat taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
