Kasyanov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed batista's guard.

Kasyanov is looking for a kimura but batista is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kasyanov to get the leverage.

Kidd wants to stand but Zero is controlling his arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kidd circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kidd throws a hook to the side of Zero's head but Zero sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kidd throws a right hand that Zero ducks under and follows up with a left that Zero also avoids with ease.
Kidd tries to close the distance and clinch but Zero swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Zero lands a front kick.
Kidd ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zero moves away.
Zero scores with the left hand. Kidd knows he should have avoided that one.
Zero thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kidd if he has to take too many more of those.
Zero feints and then cracks Kidd's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kidd down.
Zero keeps Kidd at a distance using the push kick.

Zero takes the fight into the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
