Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Poopdeck PJ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Soza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soza is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sponge Bob Theme Song. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

I think Deeds might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Evils Deeds. Daley has chosen Rise Against - Prayer Of The Refugee as his entrance music. Black stalks Silakka and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Silakka's face. Silakka staggers backwards, shaken.

Lucas Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black is looking to slow Silakka down with leg kicks.
Silakka shoots in for a double leg but Black sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Silva enables Hood to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Silva manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hood checks a leg kick.

Hood changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Hood manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

No joy there for Hood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Crunch! Silva slams his shin into Hood's torso.
Silva scores with the left hand. Hood knows he should have avoided that one.
Hood takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Silva's corner calls for a 1-2. Silva obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hood walks straight into a right hand from Silva - that's dropped him! Silva jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Hood from any more punishment! Hood complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
