The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tomson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kirby at a distance.
Tomson ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kirby throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tomson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kirby.
Tomson pushes Kirby away with a front kick. Kirby swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tomson connects with a body shot. Tomson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Joe Kirby has been cut. Both fighters circling a little - Tomson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Kirby is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kirby has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kirby there as he acknowledges the shot. Kirby tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Tomson lands with a nice body punch. Tomson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kirby, pushing him back against the cage. Tomson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tomson scores with a hook to the body. Kirby takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Tom Tomson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tomson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A lazy left from Tomson finds it's target. Tomson connects with a single shot there. A shot to the liver by Tomson. Beautiful body shot. Tomson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tomson. Tomson stuns Kirby with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Nice shot by Tomson.

That's one minute gone in the round. Crunch! Tomson slams his shin into Kirby's torso. Tomson lands with a nice combination. Kirby backs away looking to recover. A chopping leg kick lands by Tomson. Tom Tomson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tomson with a jab. Tomson lands a body shot.
Tomson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kirby rather than just go for the knockout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crunch! Tomson slams his shin into Kirby's torso. Tomson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Tomson keeps Kirby at a distance using the push kick. A punch lands to the side of Kirby 's head but he takes it in his stride. Tomson lands with a hook. Kirby tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Joe Kirby's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Kirby will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Tomson drops Kirby with a beautiful combination! Kirby stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tomson is looking for the KO!
Kirby is rocked! Tomson ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Kirby out cold! The fight is over!

3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Johnson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burton wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Burton keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Johnson. Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Burton circles away.
Burton avoids a punch combination nicely.
Johnson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Burton's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Burton duly obliges. Burton throws out a powerful jab. Johnson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The crowd cheers as Burton lands an impressive looking overhand right. Johnson doesn't seem phased though. Johnson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Burton scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Paul Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Burton stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Johnson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Burton counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Johnson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Burton tests Johnson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Johnson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Johnson looks gassed! Burton scores with a crisp jab that stopped Johnson in his tracks. Burton jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Johnson is rocked! Burton throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Johnson stumbling backwards into the cage! Johnson bounces back off the cage towards Burton, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Burton lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Burton celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turan tries to clinch up but Jabulani circles away and keeps his distance. Jabulani shoots in and gets a takedown into Turan's guard. Turan controls Jabulani momentarily but Jabulani frees himself. Jabulani sitting in guard, not really doing much. Turan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jabulani is aware though and is defending well. Jabulani wants to control from the top but Turan keeps moving. Jabulani postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jabulani looking to pass the guard. Turan looking to control.
Turan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Turan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jabulani! Jabulani is trying to reverse the position but instead Turan has taken his back - oops!
That's one minute gone in the round. Turan avoiding Jabulani 's attempts to control his hands. Turan tries to get the hooks in deep but Jabulani pushed the leg off. Jabulani rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Jabulani makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jabulani. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Turan trying to control but Jabulani is working from the bottom. Jabulani tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jabulani looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Turan passes into side control.
Jabulani tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Turan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jabulani regains half guard. Jabulani is trying to get back to full guard. Jabulani looking for a kimura from the bottom but Turan passes into side control! Jabulani is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Turan prevents Jabulani from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jabulani slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Jabulani is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Turan is aware though and is defending well. Jabulani is trying to hold Turan in close to prevent damage but Turan has managed to pass into half guard.
Jabulani wants to get back to full guard. Turan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Jabulani regains full guard. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jabulani is pressing down on Turan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Turan is holding on for now. Jabulani looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Turan wants to control but Jabulani is keeping busy.

Jabulani is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Turan is just riding it out for now. Jabulani eventually gives up the hold. Jabulani controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turan wants to get back to his feet. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jabulani wants to free his trapped foot but Turan is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Turan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jabulani shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jabulani showed some decent athleticism there. Turan tries to get to full guard but Jabulani has control of the leg. Turan is refusing to be controlled, as Jabulani sits in half guard. Jabulani works his way into full mount! Jabulani is working for a guillotine from mount but Turan frees his head quite easily.

Turan wants to hold on but Jabulani pushes him away. Turan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jabulani controlling his opponent. Turan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jabulani landing punches. Turan sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Jabulani is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Jabulani has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Jabulani is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Turan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Turan is letting Jabulani control him for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Zakumi Jabulani showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jabulani has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Malone digs a good body shot into Moonstick's ribs. Lee Moonstick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moonstick is breathing heavily. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duke takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Duke shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thangs pinned against the cage. Thangs gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Duke blocks a head kick by Thangs.
No luck for Duke with that takedown attempt. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Thangs misses with a series of wild punches.

Duke is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Thangs clinches up with Duke and pushes him back against the cage. Thangs lands a left hand that snaps the head of Duke backwards. Thangs breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Thangs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Thangs cracks Duke with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Duke takes a body punch but keeps moving. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Thangs throws a nice head kick!

That has opened up Puppy Duke's cut even more. Thangs connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Thangs lands with a nice combination. Duke backs away looking to recover. Thangs closes the distance and clinches. Thangs lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Thangs breaks the clinch.
Duke wants to clinch and Thangs counters with a leg kick. Thangs lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The cut above Puppy Duke's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Duke on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Thangs. Thangs obviously looking to wear him down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thangs doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Duke to counter with a crisp jab. Thangs explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Duke takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Duke moves in looking to clinch but Thangs pushes him off. Duke throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Thangs lands a head kick!

Thangs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duke but Duke pushes him off and we're back to square one. Thangs checks a low kick from Duke. Thangs lands with a good body shot. Thangs pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Thangs.

Duke shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thangs but Thangs pushes him off and we're back to square one. Duke looks to land a left hand but Thangs moved out of range nicely. Thangs scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Thangs throws a head kick that misses. No luck with that takedown attempt from Duke. Thangs throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Duke's head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Duke looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duke is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick lands from Van der Laan. Van der Laan thumps Thaksin with a low kick. Van der Laan tries to clinch but Thaksin moves out of range. Van der Laan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Andre Van der Laan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Van der Laan lands a nice looking kick to the body. Thaksin takes a step back to recover. Van der Laan avoids the body shot from Thaksin.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Van der Laan throws a leg kick which misses Thaksin's front leg but catches the back leg as Thaksin tries to avoid it. Van der Laan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Thaksin takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. The fight moves into the clinch position. Van der Laan avoiding damage as Thaksin throws knees to the body.
Van der Laan jerks Thaksin's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Thaksin drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Van der Laan goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Van der Laan because Thaksin was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
