Chael Sonnen...the elite of the elite when it comes down to wreslting.This has been tlking up a storm about how hes the best and how he plans on showing it to the world...right now he very well might just be th best at hypeing a fight or downsizing his oppenets...but the tlk thts goining around is the wreslting ability of Chael Sonnen.you can go back at his NCAA wreslting career and be convinced that Sonnen has absolutly the best wreslting in mma AS a ROOKIE.but according to him hes faaar from rookie status nd belives he can take the VFW belt with relitive EASE.some may so thats INSANE.but the track record of Chael doesnt lie.Being 110-7 in his collegic wreslting career nd earning 4 runner-up awards and 2 NCAA National titles.as an ametur in MMA he wracked up an 4-1 record before turning pro,his 4 wins came by way of UNANIMOUS Decison.he lost his first ever fight by getting caught ina triangle for being too aggressive,only to comeback and dominate tht guy with his awesome control and wreslting.Ground and pounded away all his ametur victims all the way to decison.his stand up is good,hes got an excellent chin nd moves well on the feet setting up his takedowns that so far have NOT been stopped,he aways finds a way to complete the takedown and get his opp. on his back where he unloads vicious strikes from the top.but whats MOST IMPRESSIVE about this guy is that he can do for 3 whole rounds.his cardio is insane! and he pushes an incredible pace that few guys can keep up with.It's going to be something special when we get to see him against pros and top notch fighters,hes training obsessivly and constantly improving his game.Hes starting to put everything together and basing off his superb wrestling skills and strenght.Personally i see Chael Sonnen fighting for a belt alott sooner then people think but hey thats just my opinion.always looking for a fight and always improving Chael Sonnen had this to say when asked how he is goining to earn a title shot in such short time..."I dnt need to earn a shot becaz I AM the CHAMPION,i just dnt have the belt.when it comes fight time and VFW finally decides who they want me to fight then im goining to go out there meet him in the center of the cage and start a fight."  "I GURENTEE i will find a way to impose my gameplan and im damn good at doing so.its no secret i plan on punching him in the face and slaming him to the canvas and beat a hole in his head for 3-5 rounds or until he gives up." confident he seems,but only time will tell where this road will lead Chael Sonnen.Stay tuned and be sure to check out his first fight in the big leagues.....
