Unski "Juggernaut " Hallavaara "comeback career"

Fighter profile of Unski Hallavaara by

Unski "Juggernaut " Hallavaara Started boxing at age 18. Was 2-0 when he got his first title shot. Upon winning his first title, he successfully defended it once and he was getting paid had everything, girls, house, fancy cloths, jewelry’s, fast cars, and a big house. He stopped training hard and partied more and when his second title defense came around he got the surprise of his life.  KO (Head Kick)  loss in the first round 01:53. He was out cold and they had to use smelling salt to revive him. He was in the hospital for a few days and was released and sent home. After watching the tape of the fight, he realize how he had let fame and all the glamour get in his head and  now he had lost the title he worked so hard to get in the first place. So he was back in the gym and his return fight saw him ko his opponent in the first round under a min. He was now focus less partying and more training and he was on a 2 fight winning streak when found himself in a rematch fight against the man that took his belt Kosti Johannes. But Unski

Seems to have made the same mistake again. He was so confident that he was going to beat this guy silly, that he stopped training hard and was partying hard until the day of the fight saw him getting beat up and had to tap out to strikes in the first round.  Unski was in shock. He could not believe what had happen. But instead of kicking himself he went back to the gym and started to work on his game to a new level which paid off. He won 1 fight and then he left his org Sisu Fighting Championship(now closed) to fight at Nordic Fire Championship. He was refocus and was on a 4 fight winning streak when he was presented with a title fight against champion at the time, Tomi "Felix" Koski. But  Unski found himself once again not focus for the fight and out partying the night before the title fight with friends who should have been telling him he should be training instead of partying. Unski this time was not ko but was submitted and lost his shot at the belt. He was at a crossroad and went back to train and won some fights lost some losing title fights and then left his org again. He ending up losing his fake friends, the girls, cars, his house, and had to stay at a friend’s house and found himself yet again fighting in a new org [WAO] UNITY MMA - Hell'sinki. Things got worse for Unski. He was now on a 3 fight losing streak and another title fight lost and this time giving the boot from the org. Unski went into a mid-depression criss and was losing himself fast. He started drinking, didn’t train and he was getting older and didn’t have a lot of time left to get himself ready for a last run before he retires or was thinking about retiring at that point. One day he showed up for training and his manager at the time John Ericsson was waiting for him outside the gym. Before Unski could say anything to his manager, John told him he will not manage him anymore and he would have to find another manager and a gym to train. Now Unski was home drinking, feeling sorry for himself, when one day his friend told him he has someone he wants him to meet. Unski was not sure about meeting this person but he had nothing to lose at this point. This guy was Hardcore Legend, who has been known to help fighters get back on the right path and had fighters of his own that were doing it big. Hardcore Legend took 1 look at Unski and offered to manage him and give him a gym to train at. By this time, Unski was in his early 30’s and didn’t have much time to spare or room for error if he wanted to get back on top. Hardcore found him a local org OFC where he had a fight against Ivan Drago who is coming off a win by knockout of his opponent in the first round. Hardcore told Unski that this is the path he needs to go in order to get back on top. So Unski this time went to his new gym. Started training hard, stopped drinking and was now eating healthy foods. By the time his fight came around, no one thought the fight would have ended the way how it ended. Unski knocked out Ivan in the first round and he was pleased with the result. One day, Hardcore paid Unski a visit while he was at the gym working out for his next fight which he thought would have been back at QFC. As soon as Unski saw Hardcore walked in, he knew something was up. Hardcore called him a side and handed him a paper wrapped with something in it. When Unski opened it, he saw there was a contract for a big org xXx - Amsterdam Warfare  and also 2 keys. 1 had numbers of a house address and the other had a name of a car. Unski almost break down in tears and he thanked Hardcore for giving him the chance to make something of himself and he went back to training. His first fight in his new org was a knock out win that put him once again in line for a title shot and once again he came up short losing it. This time Unski went back to the gym and went over what went wrong in the fight.  After making some adjustment he was on a 4 fight winning steak plus his second championship around his waist. He then defended it once before losing it to Stan Paige. He was winning and losing and changing orgs until he got an offer to fight in Intense Fighting Championship, where now rides a 3 fight winning streak plus his third belt around his waist at 205 which he fought his whole career at. Now Unski is back on top, title in hand, fast cars, a big house where he now has his own gym and doesn’t allow anyone to come to when he is training for a fight and another gym where he trains with his teammates when he is not home. Unski vows to never make the same mistake he has in the past and is now focus to make a run at greatness and hopefully land him a shot at former P4P king pin Jeremy Tonal sometime in the future before he retires for good. Stay tune till next time.
