Tonight on MMA Hype, Jared Asante and Brett Clarke are at Wild Bob’s Bar in Los Angeles, along with LFC owner James Listerman, to discuss yet another success. LFC 2 showed another wave of future Tycoon superstars, which is exactly what Listerman was hoping for.

Here’s Jared and Brett, along with Listerman.

Jared Asante: Good evening ladies and gentlemen! LFC 2 just concluded, and we’re here, at Wild Bob’s Bar, with LFC owner James Listerman. What an event that was. It’s pretty much a continuity to where LFC 1 left off. That’s exactly what the fans came here for, everyone walked out of here extremely happy, there’s even a good majority of fans that stayed at the bar to meet the fighters.

Brett Clarke: Yeah, the fighters are currently backstage, signing autographs. Some of them had to leave for a quick trip at the hospital for precautionary checkups, but all the winners stuck around for the fans.

James Listerman: That’s something that we’re really fond of at the LFC. Fighters have no obligation to stick around after events, there’s nothing of that in their contracts, but they do it for the love of the sport, and that’s what makes us happy.

Brett: Let’s talk right away about tonight’s event. What and who impressed you the most?

James Listerman: I have to go with Kozlov vs Ban Gbus that was fight of the night. Ban Gbus showed tremendous heart, it’s been a while since I’ve seen a guy like that, who just doesn’t want to quit. Kozlov rocked him late in the first round, but the round ended. He then proceeded to knock him down 3 times in round 2, but round 3 was all she wrote. Fights like that are what fans come for, and those 2 sure delivered.

Jared: Oh man it was a crazy fight for sure. What about KO and Sub of the night?

James Listerman: KO of the night was a quick one, we saw Nico Salas end Chandler’s night with a crazy knee to the face, that only took him 9 seconds. Then we saw a high skilled grappling match between Johnny Kane and Quintin Navarro, where they battled for top position, had a few sub attempts of their own, until Kane landed with a beautiful Brabo Choke to end the fight. All that in under 3 minutes.

Brett: I’m a big fan of grappling and BJJ myself, that Brabo Choke was a treat to watch. You don’t see that everyday, but when you do, you cannot unsee it, I just loved it.

Jared: Well, that’s all the time we had folks. Another successful event in the books for the LFC, hope to see you guys around next time!
