Rio Chain Gabng 7: Alsop vs. Ford, comes to you live from the hard knocks arena in Rio De Janeiro this saturday. Let's rundown the action packed card we have in store for you.

We will start things with a Bantamweight battle between 4-0 Clark Kent, and 1-2 Frankie Edgar, Kent will be making his RCG debut at this event while Frankie will be looking to avenge his loss from RCG 3. Both men are pretty sound strikers so this should be a barn burner, you won't wanna miss it.

The next bout, which will be contested at 170 will see former Kickboxer turned MMA fighter, Umberto Grena, take on 2 and 2 Aslanbek Kiruev, both men want to prove they can hang with the best here at Rio Chain Gang but first they have to get through each other to do it.

Moving on to the Light Heavyweight Division, 3-2 Jon Bones will make his RCG debut when he goes against one time RCG vet 2-1 Sor Jamie Lannister. Expect a clash of styles here as Lannister will want to keep the fight standing, while Bones will want to use his superior Grappling to dictate where the bout goes aswell as the pace.

The fourth fight of the night will see two top Bantamweight prospects go at it as 1-0 Roid "Rage" Whitaker takes on, 5-0 Kurt Vogel, I am excited for this one, both men are extradinary grapplers, I would give the Jiu-juitsu edge slightly to Whitaker, that being said, Vogel has never been submitted, it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Next up we have a Middleweight contest between 4-1 Jiu-Juitsu ace, Emil "The Axe" Jagerkokov, and knockout artist Sulejima Tedekiks. The style clash is evident in this one, all four of Emil's wins come from submission, with his lolne loss coming by decision, making him dangerous on the ground aswell as hard to put away. Meanwhile Tudekkis is coming off of a one minute and forty-second knockout over Doo Doo Brown at RCG 2, and will look to captalize on that momentium on his continued quest for the RCG Middleweight crown.

At Light Heavyweight we will also see a bout between 2-0 Mike Lambert, and 4-0 Jarpi "Blue" Koinen. We havn't seen Lambert since RCG 1 where it only took him an impressive twenty-one seconds to put away Marcos Martinez. Lambert will have the tough task of welcoming Top Prospect and Sprawl and Brawl ace "Blue" into the chain gang.

Back in the Bantamweight division once again, we will see 5-3 Sambulo Yeboah, take on 6-1 Joshua Weber. Yeboah describes himself as a finisher, be it on the ground, or on the feet he has the skills to finish any fight, however that will be no small task when he steps in the cage with Weber who's only loss come by way of Decision, will Yeboah be able to finish him? Tune in and find out.

The next bout will be contested at Light Heavyweight as 4-0 William Holbert looks to duke it out with 5-3 grappler, Richard Parker, this bout could have serious repurcussions on the 205 title in the near future, so you want wanna miss it.

Our co-main event of the evening will be another Light Heavyweight bout between 10-4 Cornelius Spillbergen, and 5-2 Andrey Kuznetcov, Both men are one time RCG vets, and both are looking to put a w on their win column here in the Chain Gang, this two men are determined to avenge their losses which should make for a great match-up

...And of course don't forget, our main event, the undisputed, uncrowned king of 135 here at Rio Chain Gang. 14-3 Fred Alsop, will take on highly touted prospect Whitey Ford. Ford is coming off of a second round knockout of Antonio Souza at RCG 5, while we saw Alsop when a hard fought decision victory over Li-Kong Ho in his last outing, both of these men want to prove their dominance here at 135 I can not stress this enough when I say you don't want to miss this one.

Well there you have it Ladies and Gentlemen, hope to see all of you this Saturday for RCG 7: Alsop vs. Ford.
