Vladimir “The Bomb” Venger

Fighter profile of Vladimir Venger by Heri Doank

 Venger was discovered after a fight in highschool when he broke a classmate skull with a punch. News ran fast and he was invited to start training mma with the best coaches in St Petersburg. A few years later he is now a very succesful mma pro-fighter and a renowned golfer too.

His 1st professional career started on 8-17-2013 when he was 19 years old. He fought Jimmy Leyland at RSFL 5 event and only needed 40 seconds to win by KO. His 2nd match scheduled a month later. He was matched to fight against Tony Rovigatti and his punches made Tony sleep in the 1st round. 3 weeks later he knocked Andrew Cashner and awarded 3 fight win streak.


Venger moved to other organization in Petersburg and in his 1st performance with the org he’s given chance to fight for vacant heavyweight championship. He only needed 15 seconds to win after throwing 5 punches to Jorge Caguru.

Venger made his fastest KO record by 5 seconds only when he defended his title against Krigory Himag on 10-26-2013. He was awarded 5 wins trophy and 5 wins by KO for this match. Then he was awarded 6 fight win streak after knocked Berish Palinav out in 10 seconds when he was challenged to defend his title.

On 11-9-2013 he was challenged by Joph Klent. He didn’t find any difficulties and knocked Klent out in 28 seconds.

Kieran Mobb wanted to try his luck and challenged Venger’s title on 11-16-2013 but Venger only needed 5 seconds to make him fall asleep. He was awarded 5 title fight wins trophy.

Venger continued his winning streaks to 9 on 11-23-2013 after defending his championship title against Ferben Gowles by KO in 23 seconds of 1st round.

On 11-30-2013 he was awarded 10 wins, 10 fight win streaks, and 10 wins by KO trophies after defeated Gonolev Falten in 29 seconds of 1st round.

Throne, the organization where he was contracted had been closed. He was then contracted by Powers Fighting Championship (PFC), a big fighting organization that based at Las Vegas.

On 3-1-2014 he made his 1st performance for his new organization. He kept his excellent record Dan Henderson in only 13 seconds.

Venger was scheduled to fight for vacant PFC heavyweight championship against Mark Hanlon on 2-29-2014. He, again won by 1st KO in 2 minutes and 51 seconds and had the championship title.

The next 2 fights hadn’t made any difficulties for him. He only needed 5 seconds to put Gabriel Hart sleep and 25 seconds to rest Fus Ro Dah and kept his title. He also awarded 10 title fight wins trophy.

His fight against Niten Dōraku 7-12-2014 made him lost 1st round KO specialist. He took 3 takedowns from Dōraku.

But he recorded a win submission with armbar in 3:58 of 2nd round and retained his title.

And he had to fight 2 rounds again when being challenged by Ryan Namath (Sandor Clegane) on 8-23-2014. He made Namath asleep with his straight right hand.

Then Anthony Ventura challenged him on 9-13-2014 but it was an easy fight and he finished Ventura 1:25 minutes.

Venger nearly fought in 3 rounds when defending his title against Mikey Duffy on 9-27-2014. It looked he had difficulties to fight wrestlers. He finished Duffy resistance by superman punch when 2nd round timer showed 4:57.

He did manage to win in 1st round on his next 3 fights but nearly entering round 2 when fought against Luis Torres.

His last fight was performed on 1-24-2015 when he had to defend his title against Don Diego. He had to admit that Diego was superior in Muay Thai and he lost the fight by KO in 1st round after Diego landed a head kick. He lost lost his title and winning streaks.

Surely his last fight made him and his manager sad.
