 Raz retired today and i would like to keep it just to the basic facts:
-GAMMA Hall Of Famer.
-5 years in GAMMA.
-#1 in most fights with 68 total fights for GAMMA, (63 inside GAMMA cage).
-#1 in most total wins inside GAMMA with 42, (46 if you count super fights).
-22 fight winning streak which ended after losing to the best fighter ever Jeremy Tonal.
-26 title fights.
-The only fighter to ever win a title (185lbs) on 4 different occasions.
While few can doubt who was the best overall fighter in GAMMA's history, Raz Matazz was easily the poster boy of the org fighting exclusively for the org for the better part of 5 years. Nobody in the game has come close, in fact most orgs have not existed as long as Raz Matazz has fought in GAMMA!
Raz will leave a legacy that will be very tough to beat. It will need a very diciplined fighter joining GAMMA very early to come close to the records Raz has set. That said, Frank Sinatra could beat his total fights record inside GAMMA if he manages to complete his current contract as he is sitting on 59 total fights at the moment and is 2 years younger than Raz is, so it is not impossible.
Either way, Raz will always be remembered for his contribution to this historic organization.
