Event Preview: Bushido 01
Bushido: Cage Fighting
2012-03-30, Tokyo, The Underground - Tokyo
Author:Dane Ford

Hey Now! This is JLP reporting to you live from Tokyo! I'm wearing my BCF sumo thong, so that means Bushido Cage Fighting is about to go live for it's history making first event. Lets get to the fights.

Jett Padilla(3-6) v Ken Nasamaki(0-0)

The first fight of BCF will feature MWs Padilla and Namasaki. Padilla is a BJJ/MT fighter who has won 3 of his last five after a rough start. Namasaki is making his pro debut. There is no film on Namasaki yet, and he is real excited to make his debut.

Spencer Oswell(0-0) v John YJ(1-4)

Oswell is also making his pro-debut tonight. He is primarily a boxer and rumor is he has devoted a lot of training time to improve his wrestling game. YJ's sole victory came by armbar so you can bet he hopes to get the fight to the ground. His stick-figure like physique can help him grab a sub, but can hinder his durability in the ring. Someone get this guy a taco.

Richey Spinnet(7-2) v Lockon Stratos(0-3)

Spinnet has built up a nice record fighting in other orgs, he hopes to bring that success to BCF. Spinnet's heavy hands will need to be on point in this one as he is taking on a talented MT fighter in Stratos. Stratos has had a rough start to his career, but now he is finally getting a fight with a fellow striker. Expect fireworks in this standup war.

Barrabaz Brasil(0-0) v Bad Kharma(0-0)

BCF boss Dane Ford was real excited to sign these two HW prospects. Brasil seems to have the advantage on the ground, Kharma looks like he may have the edge standing. No one really knows what these guys can do, look for a war in this one.

Waldemar Kasta(0-3) v Chuck Lee(4-5)

Kasta has had a rough start to his career and looks to get back on track against Chuck Lee. Chuck Lee is a party animal and about the fans love his sad sack ways. Kasta was kind of depressed in his prefight interview, maybe he needs to change his clothes.

Gennaro Gattuso(1-0) v Shaka Kahn(0-0)

BJJ vs wrestling in this LW duel. Boss man Ford thinks these two fighters are both up and comers and I cant disagree. Gattuso is the larger man, perhaps he can use his size advantage to impose his will. Kahn's wrestling skills are not in doubt, but Gattuso's sub skills have to be in the back of his mind in this fight or he'll be going to sleep.

Aldred Lebeng(1-0) v Jose Aldo(1-4)

The MT skills of Lebeng will be on display against Aldo in this fight. Aldo is the more experienced fighter, but his experiences in the cage haven't been great so far. Aldo scored a KO in his last fight and is hoping to use the momentum to get off to a good start in BCF.

Vitor Silva(1-0) v Andersonnen Chailva(2-3)

Silva is a boxer/wrestler, Chailva is more of a modern well rounded competitor. Chailva's struggles have come against submission fighters. He told me that he is really looking forward to standing and banging in BCF. Vitor's manager claims to be a time traveler, I don't like time travelers.

Goba Cash(2-0) v Nurlan Mustafin(5-2)

The main event features two promising HWs. Cash Likes to throw his rock like hands around. He disdains all grappling in favor of throwing bombs and knocking fools out. Mustafin comes from Yakuza CF where he displayed his all around skills in amassing a 5-2 record. Nuri is known for putting on exciting fights, making him the perfect fighter to oppose Cash in the first main event in BCF history.
