GAMMA Gossip Edition#13

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

Welcome fight fans in yet another edition of GAMMA Gossip! Here today with you is Gossip's very own Capelli King and this week we will be covering the upcoming events and news of this weekend! So lets get started!

GAMMA#301 Fedotov v Cabreros

In Wandalay Bay, 12,000 fans are expected to pack the arena to see Fred Ettish and Raz Matazz go at it again! This will be the 3rd fight between these ex-185lbs champions, but this time round it will be in much less glamorous circumstances, as both of them are trying to exit their recent slump and regain legitimacy. Both have a point to prove after failing to win in their last 5 fights combined. One thing both need to start doing is decisively win fights, something both were doing well earlier on in their careers. A lot of their losses came to the hands of seemingly lesser fighters and almost always through a decision. We hope to see more of what made both famous in this fight. It is hard to pick one of the two and their last two fights were SO close, but Fred seems to be wanting this more and could edge it.

In the main event we will have Vladik Fedotov vs Peter Cabreros. Peter is on a 6 fight winning streak, with his last coming in the ONI vs GAMMA super fight against Max Power. He is on the best form of his long GAMMA career currently and is looking to get into the title picture again as he did last May when he lost a close decision to then 170lbs champ Alan Bundy. Vladik on the other hand is still searching his first title fight after what has been mostly an impressive 15 fights in GAMMA. One thing is certain, that this will be yet another entertaining fight, with both fighters winning Fight of the Night awards in 4 of their last 6 outings. Vladik is the favorite going into the fight, but i do not think Peter really cares about that.

GAMMA#302 Juste v Stevens

The MMA Grand will be the venue for this PPV event! In the co-main event Usain Watts is looking rebound after a TKO loss in his title fight against Keith Green. Usain has revenged every loss so far in his GAMMA career after beating Doc Thomas and Raz Matazz, so he will be looking to get one over Keith, however he will not get there if he does not first beat Frank Sinatra! Frank is on a great run himself as of late, winning his last 3. This will be a close fight for sure. Usain has a fantastic and glorious career with multiple title wins all over the globe and the GAMMA title is one that he most certainly wants. Frank on the other had is looking to stamp his authority in this one and with the changes made to the ground game, Frank could finally utilize his wrestling and ground game more, which has been one part of his game we have not seen enough of, but we all know he possess.

Current 170lbs GAMMA champ, Renan St Juste is a stud and he pretty much knows it. At just 28y of age, one could argue the best is still to come. He has already had a great career so far with 2 outings into the top 100 p4p, however this fight could be the biggest or at least one of the biggest in his career as he faces up against Dean Stevens. Dean has left London Fight Night Club for the first time in 31 fights and has traveled all the way to Las Vegas for this fight and probably wont want to travel all the way back with a loss on his record! He is already a 4 time LFNC champion and one of the best in the world, but Renan is likely to be his biggest test so far in his career. Dean is a lethal ground game artist, with 4 submission wins in his last 11 fights and will likely go that rout in this fight. Renan is on a mission though to push for the top 170lbs fighter spot. He currently holds onto the number 10 p4p spot among Welterweights, but a win here will propel him up that ladder. I guess it all depends if he can keep this standing or not. If not he could be in trouble.

Elsewhere.............in another far away land Danza Kuduro is on tour in London where he will be fighting Daniel Speed. Danza has been on exceptional form for GAMMA in what has been a revival for him since joining. He has been whooping ass in spectacular fashion, winning all his last 5 fights with TKO/KO and will likely be looking to do the same in this fight. Daniel is no joke as you would expect of any fighter in the top 100 p4p! However, Danza seems to be a guy on a mission currently and the GAMMA management have big plans to push him to the moon. A win in this fight will set him up against the current number 2 p4p Light Heavyweight Denton Thunder...........but all that will only happen if he beats Daniel. I see this going to Danza, probably ending in a KO early on.
