Main event: Yaga Shura (6-2-0) vs Fat Man Mendoza (3-0-0) – 185lbs middleweight title

The respective co-main event and main event of “BRFC2: Be Nasty Day” served up two top middleweight competitors in the form of Yaga Shura and Fat Man Mendoza who will now be squaring off to determine who will be the latest addition to the BRFC royalty with the vacant 185lbs middleweight gold on the line. Both fighters are high level wrestlers, with Shura possessing a purple belt in BJJ. He has demonstrated his superior ground game with all his victories coming by way of submission, most recently making quick work of Anderson Silvia with a “Submission of the Night” armbar. The British Mendoza is certainly no slouch on the ground as he was able to survive Murilo Bustamante’s countless submission attempts to deliver some vicious ground and bound to earn a “Fight of the Night” victory. His devastating ground and pound is amongst the best in the division. Once the cage door closes and these two talented martial artists lock horns, the fans will be in for a treat as only one true champion will emerge!

The Sao Paolo native and former “ATTACK” fighter will be looking to take the fight to the ground where he has proved his dominance with his victories coming by way of submission in the first rounds. Uchiha was proved his worth and able to hold his own on the ground (despite coming into the bout slight overweight) as he was able to pull off a triangle armbar victory over Jose Castro at the most recent “BRFC3: Champions Road” event, earning him “Submission of the Night”. Uchiha steps in as a late replacement in what will be an important fight for both these men to see who will elevate higher amongst the middleweight division.

Murilo Bustamante had failed to get revenge over the current 185lbs title contender, but the tough Brazilian has proved he is never involved in a boring fight having earned a “Fight of the Night” performance with his 2nd bout against Fat Man Mendoza. “Capturar” will looked to get back on track and move closer to a possible title contention. The durable Ethiopian brawler, Apollo Buttchecks had endured some tough grueling battles; his most recent being a 3 round war with Maximus Spartus which ended in majority draw. He has yet to earn a win under BRFC, and he looks to try and score that first victory against the crafty BJJ expert, Bustamante.

An intriguing middleweight battle (that is still awaiting confirmation from management) pits two top level strikers together in the form of Maximum Spartus and Seth Gunn. Spartus showed his impressive abilities in his first fight in “BRFC2: Be Nasty Day”, before a late rally from Apollo Buttchecks had forced it to be a majority draw in the judges eyes. The skillful Italian boxer who also possesses a BJJ purple belt won’t look to make the same mistake again as he looks to dominate and finish his opponents from here on. Seth Gunn hasn’t stepped in the cage since his beat down from Fat Man Mendoza in “BRFC: The Beginnings”.
